Fare-Paid Zones at Stations like Hurdman

Featured Replies

Hello all,

As we already know, there will be Fare-Paid Zones at select stations, allowing an easier transfer between bus and train.

Some stations that will incorporate this like Hurdman isn't clear how it will work to control the fare-paid zones, especially since the Hurdman station is located right near some high density residential apartments and condos. From the photos thus far and seeing the station, it isn't apparent yet how it will be accomplished. Any one have any ideas?

There will be fare gates right near Platform A, same section as the kiss and ride is, etc. And a fence. Near the corner of the 4 way stop sign.

Near the corner of the 4 way stop sign.

In the render you can sort of see they have some fencing and glass walls to act as barriers between zones.
