Stage 2 LRT - News

Today, there was an article on CBC News about how the Stage 2 LRT contract signing will only take place early next year, most likely end of January or early February. This is due to the council being a "Lame Duck", which means there is less than 75% of the council returning post election. They can only approve items that are up to $50,000. There is a chance of getting it done before end of December but they said there is alot to do and delaying the signing won't impact the start of construction, scheduled to start next Summer.
